Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

We're excited to announce that from 5th August 2025, our practice will go live with the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS).

EPS is a digital system that allows us to send prescriptions directly to a pharmacy of your choice - you will no longer need to collect paper prescriptions from the practice!

What This Means for You:

• Simple to sign up – speak to your usual pharmacy for more information.
• More convenient – Prescriptions go straight to your nominated pharmacy.
• Safe and secure – Your prescription can be tracked at every stage, so it cannot be lost.
• Environmentally friendly – less paper means less waste.
• Especially helpful - for patients on regular medication or with mobility issues.

Getting Ready:

• Nominate your preferred pharmacy – ask your pharmacy for a nomination form and return it to them. They’ll take care of the rest.
•   Make sure your contact details are up to date.
• Sign up to the NHS Wales App if you can. By doing so, you can manage your prescriptions online – optional, but handy!
• You can still order your prescriptions in your usual way: through the pharmacy, the NHS Wales App, or by dropping your repeat slip into our letterbox.
