Children's Nasal Flu for Children Aged 2 and 3

2024 - 2025 Flu Season 

Children aged 2 or 3 on 31st August 2024 (born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2022) are eligible for their nasal flu vaccination at their GP Practice.

We have now sent out invites for all children in the above age group. If you have received a text message or a letter, please contact us to book your child's appointment by emailing flu.roseneath@wales.nhs.uk with the following information:

• Your child's name
• Your child's date of birth
• Your preferred day/time (we will try to accommodate your request where possible) 

Please note - We only offer appointments for nasal flu on weekdays. 

If you do not wish to have your child vaccinated against flu this winter, please use the above email to let us know. 

Additional information:

• The delay in vaccine delivery for adults does not impact the usual vaccine delivery for children and nasal flu vaccines will be offered to children as normal from September onwards. 
• If your child is now of school age, they will be vaccinated by the school nursing team.
