Appointments

For all appointments with a GP (urgent and routine), you will be asked to complete an eConsult request. This request will be triaged by a GP and we will endeavour to reply to all contacts regarding clinical matters by the end of the next working day. Responses to admin enquiries may take longer. If you are unable to use this system, please call to speak to one of our reception team who will help complete it for you.

Our triage system allows us to prioritise patients based on urgency, ensuring that those with the most pressing needs are dealt with sooner, while also providing timely care for routine matters. This system allows us to allocate resources efficiently and enhance your overall healthcare experience.

eConsult is available between 7am and 5:30pm, Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays).

Home visits take place between the clinicians morning and afternoon surgeries and must be phoned through to the practice before 11:30am.

Please note - You will be contacted by a member of our Clinical or Reception team via email, telephone or text. You may be invited for a face-to-face appointment on the same day.

When submitting an eConsult request, you can express a preference of which clinician you wish to see. We may not always be able to accommodate your request depending on the clinical rota and your availability, but where possible, we will try to arrange an appointment with your preferred clinician.

Important Reminder: If you are unable to attend your appointment for any reason, please cancel your appointment by calling 01244 550555 as soon as possible so that we can re-arrange your appointment for a more suitable date and time.

Please Note: Our Reception Team are working under the instructions of the Doctors. You will be asked for a description of your symptoms to help our team in signposting you to the most appropriate clinician. Please be courteous to our staff who are following the protocols and policies of the practice. Please bear in mind that all calls to the practice are recorded and we operate a zero tolerance policy against abusive/aggressive behaviour towards our staff.
